NPP Flagbearer Race: Bawumia Invigorated by Western North Support, Eyes Victory
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia concluded his tour of the Western North Region on Thursday, visiting the Sefwi Wiawso and Bibiani constituencies. During his engagement with fellow party members over the past few days, he described the experience as both exciting and invigorating as they work together towards victory in the party’s presidential primary scheduled for January 2026.

He expressed his gratitude to the people of the Western North Region for the warm reception he received. “I was touched by the overwhelming support from fellow patriots in the Bia East, Bia West, Juaboso, and Bodi constituencies yesterday,” he remarked.

Dr. Bawumia was particularly inspired by the positive responses to his proposals, which include institutionalizing the welfare of party members and ensuring that appointments are constituency-based to recognize and reward the efforts of grassroots supporters.
He also shared his pride in the positive impact of the medical drone delivery services, which he championed during his tenure as Vice President, on the lives of people in remote areas of the Western North Region and beyond. “Let us continue to work together and win together so we can achieve more for Mother Ghana and its citizens,” he concluded.
