NPP Flagbearer Election: Manhyia South Constituency chairman impressed with voting process

Voting in the Manhyia South Constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) kicked off smoothly. The Constituency Chairman of the party, Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta popularly called Tom Tom, expressed satisfaction with the process and was hopeful that everything will continue to be peaceful.

“This is a family election, you can see the Electoral Commission is ready and security is good. We’ve already spoken to our delegates so what we are looking at is that we have a peaceful election,” he said.

Missing names
Answering a question on some missing names in the voters album,, Mr Ofori Atta said, “We’ve received reports that the names of some delegates are missing from the album and we are trying to cross-check from the regional and national executives and see how we can rectify it. Even the proxy voters are affected.”
