NDC Ends Boycott of Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show — Asiedu Nketiah Confirms

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has officially announced the party’s return to Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show after a prolonged absence.
Speaking during a live appearance on the show on Thursday, Asiedu Nketiah confirmed that the NDC is ending its years-long boycott of the influential morning program.
The party had previously withdrawn its participation, citing concerns about bias and unfair treatment in the show’s coverage.
“We are back to the Kokrokoo Show again after years of absence,” Asiedu Nketiah declared, speaking to sit-in host Nana Yaw Kesseh.
“It’s important for us to reconnect with the Ghanaian people and engage in the national discourse through platforms like this.”
His appearance marks a symbolic moment for both the party and the media outlet, as the NDC re-engages with one of Ghana’s most listened-to political talk shows.
Asiedu Nketiah, a seasoned political figure, used the opportunity to emphasize the NDC’s commitment to open dialogue and transparency.
When asked about his political future and whether he intends to run for president in the 2028 elections, Asiedu Nketiah was clear.
“I am not preparing to contest the 2028 presidential elections,” he said. “My focus is on strengthening the party and supporting its vision for national development”, he added.
