Napo’s aide rallies Ashanti Region votes for NPP
The Press Aide to Vice Presidential Candidate Amma Bempomaah Mensah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made a passionate appeal to the residents of the Ashanti Region, urging them to rally behind Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh in the upcoming 2024 elections.
She emphasized the critical importance of the votes from this region, asserting that they are essential for the NPP’s success in securing victory in the forthcoming elections.
During her appearance on the ‘Ghanakoma’ Morning Show on Akoma 87.9FM in Kumasi on November 14, Miss Bempomaah Mensah articulated the significance of Dr. Prempeh’s deep local roots, which she referred to as the “NAPO factor.”
She explained that this connection to the community could pave the way for increased development projects and initiatives in the region, should the NPP emerge victorious.
Furthermore, she encouraged voters to extend the same level of enthusiasm and support for Dr. Prempeh and the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, as they had previously shown for former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
This historical context was used to inspire confidence in the NPP’s ability to deliver on its promises and to remind voters of the positive impact that strong leadership can have on the region.
Miss Bempomaah Mensah also highlighted a significant milestone: if the NPP wins the elections, the Ashanti Region will have a Vice President for the very first time.
She underscored the importance of this opportunity, suggesting that it would not only elevate the region’s status within the national political landscape but also facilitate faster development and progress for its people.
In her closing remarks, she reiterated the necessity of voting for the NPP, framing it as a crucial step towards ensuring a brighter future for the Ashanti Region and its residents.
