Napo hits ground running as Paramount Chief of Upper Dixcove lauds him for free SHS implementation
The NPP Presidential Running Mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has hit the ground running with campaigning, a day after he was unveiled in Kumasi.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, he called on the Paramount Chief of the Upper Dixcove Traditional Area of the Western Region, Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV who praised him for leading the successful implementation of the NPP’s flagship Free Senior High School (SHS) policy.
According to Obrempong, the energy with which the policy was implemented makes Dr Opoku Prempeh the best person to support Dr Bawumia’s selfless leadership and bold solutions for the future agenda.
Relief
Explaining further, the Paramount Chief said, “At first, we used to receive numerous requests from people seeking support for their wards in SHSs but because of this huge relief, we are no more burdened. I believe you have what it takes to support Dr Bawumia and so we are solidly behind you as Ahantaman,“ he said.
Appreciation
Dr Opoku Prempeh expressed appreciation for the warm reception , and asked for prayers for him and Dr Bawumia as they travel across the country to make a case to the Ghanaians to vote for the NPP in the December elections.
