Napo goes through vetting, confident NPP will break the 8

After going through a rigorous vetting today, January 3, 2024, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is confident that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will “break the 8” in the December 7 elections.

Dr Opoku Prempeh who is also the Energy Minister, is one of the over 380 sitting MPs of the party who are being vetted within a period of three days ahead of their parliamentary primaries on January, 27, 2024.

Process
“Earlier today, I submitted myself to the rigors of vetting, in line with the rules of our internal democratic exercise.
“This is part of the process leading to the parliamentary primaries of 27th January, 2024 for constituencies with sitting MPs.”

“I am grateful to the party leadership, for ensuring a seamless process. As always, I am confident that, ultimately, the New Patriotic Party, our beloved party, will be the winner, as we get ourselves in full readiness for the crucial 2024 bout. The NPP, is poised, by the grace of God to ‘break the 8’ in December,” he posted on his Facebook page.
