NAPO Confident Ghanaians Will Choose ‘Upgrade’ Over ‘Reset’

It is clear that Ghanaians will choose ‘upgrade’ over ‘reset’ in the December 7 elections, NPP running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has asserted.

Campaigning in the Bono East Region on Thursday, September 12, 2024, Napo, as the running mate is popularly known , said Ghanaians want to move forward with Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and not to reverse the progress made with John Mahama.

Media engagement
During his media engagement on Sunday, August 25, Dr Bawumia responded to Mahama’s call for a reset of the nation, stating that the country needs an upgrade, not a reset.

The NPP flagbearer then outlined 14 key commitments he intends to undertake when elected in the 2024 elections, including the creation of jobs, and building Ghana into a world-class digital economy amongst others.

Safest choice
While on his constituency-focused tour yesterday, which took him to communities including Abease and Prang in the Pru West Constituency, Napo said the NPP’s record in the constituency is unmatched.

Therefore, voting for Dr Bawumia and the parliamentary candidate, Stephen Jalulah is the safest choice for the future. “In December, Pru West will undoubtedly, stand out as part of the constituencies that safeguarded Ghana’s future,” he stated.

Trust
In the Kintampo North constituency, he appealed to stakeholders including chiefs, queen mothers, Zongo leaders, and various identifiable groups from Kunsu to Kintampo township, to place their trust in Dr Bawumia by voting for him in large numbers.

He emphasized that the NPP has consistently proven itself as a political party that governs with a commitment to cohesion and inclusion, irrespective of religious or other considerations. With Dr Bawumia, he assured them that they will have a leader with the conviction to steer Ghana into its next phase of development.

He also urged the constituents to vote for the NPP parliamentary candidate, Isaac Baffoe.
