Mohammed Kudus remains one of the best players in Ghana – Thomas Partey

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has waxed lyrical about fellow countryman, Mohammed Kudus, describing him as one of the best players for club and country.

The 24-year-old, after an instant impact at West Ham in his debut campaign, struggled in his second season at the club.

In the just-ended season, Kudus scored four times in 32 appearances, and despite his struggles, the Arsenal midfielder believes Kudus possesses a lot of qualities despite struggling to score many goals last season.

“Well, I think I have to say a difficult year for [Mohammed] Kudus, and it also depends on the goals, but when it comes to quality, you can never say it is a difficult year for him,” Partey said as reported by Pan African Football.

“For me, I always know he is one of the best we have in the country, and you know he is our star boy,” he added.

Since moving to West Ham, Kudus has 19 goals and 10 assists in 80 games across all competitions.

Despite his challenges, Mohammed Kudus has been linked to several European clubs.
