‘Kokrokoo’, ‘Ekosiisen’ Host NAPO Today
Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh will be the special guest on two leading radio programmes in Accra today, October 16.
At 9am, the NPP vice presidential candidate who has been touring the country campaigning for the election of his boss, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and the party’s parliamentary candidates, will be speaking on Peace FM’s flagship morning show programme, Kokrokoo.
Then at 4pm, Napo , as Dr Prempeh is popularly known , will feature on ‘Ekosiisen’ on Asempa FM.
Issues
Napo is expected to answer questions on how far his campaign has gone and what lies ahead of him as the elections draw closer.
He is likely to touch on why there is the need for Ghanaians to retain the NPP in power to build on the successes achieved in the past eight years.
In addition, he is expected to go deep into the chances of the NPP in the elections.
Ayensuano seat
Meanwhile, during his campaign tour of the Eastern Region, Napo was in the Ayensuano constituency where he said the parliamentary seat will flip back to NPP. “By the grace of God and through hard work, Ida Adjoa Asiedu is heading to Parliament on the NPP’s ticket,” he said.
Free SHS, others
Addressing various events at Anum Apapam and other communities, he stressed the need to safeguard the gains made in Free SHS, electricity stability, the construction of more schools, Agenda 111, and many other initiatives. “I am very confident that the people are resolute, without a shred of doubt, that the leader Ghana needs in this defining moment is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. I am encouraged that you are not only committed to campaigning for him, but you will also vote overwhelmingly in his favour,” he stated.
