Ken Agyapong mourns Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, hails him as a “true titan of Ghanaian innovation”

Businessman and politician Ken Ohene Agyapong has paid glowing tribute to Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, describing the late industrialist as “a true titan of Ghanaian innovation and a visionary leader.”

In a statement, Agyapong said he was “deeply saddened” by the passing of the founder of Kantanka Automobile, noting that the nation had lost one of its greatest industrial pioneers.

“I have always believed profoundly in his work and had hoped our nation could provide the strategic support necessary to propel his inventions onto the global stage,” Agyapong said. “While we may regret past opportunities, the monumental legacy he leaves behind will forever serve as our inspiration.”

He praised Apostle Safo for demonstrating the limitless potential of Ghanaian ingenuity.

“Apostle Safo’s life work proved a powerful truth: that the Ghanaian is capable of achieving anything. He shattered any lingering doubts about our ability to innovate, build and create a self-reliant nation,” he noted.

According to Agyapong, the inventor’s legacy should serve as a guiding light for future generations. “His legacy is a solemn promise that with determination and belief in ourselves, we can and will chart our own path to prosperity. May his revolutionary spirit continue to guide us. Rest in eternal peace.”

Apostle Safo, revered both as a religious leader and an innovator, was widely known for his pioneering work in automobile manufacturing, engineering, and indigenous technology development in Ghana.
