KGL Technologies breaks into Ghana Club 100: Wins 11th position at 2023 awards

KGL Technology, a subsidiary of the KGL Group, emerged as the 11th best ranked company at the 20th Ghana Club 100 awards, held on December 8, 2023.

It was the first time the company, which provides entities with specialized IT solutions, broke into the prestigious awards, organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).
The 1st position went to Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (Ahafo South Mine).
In securing the top ranked in the ICT sector, KGL was recognised for its technology innovative approach which has not only helped institutions achieve operational efficiency but has also contributed to empowering businesses to expand their reach and ultimately achieve sustainable growth.

Private sector

Speaking at the ceremony, the Executive Chairman of the KGL Group and Board Chairman of GIPC, Alex Apau Dadey emphasised the important role the private sector plays in wealth creation.
He said the government does not create wealth, but rather the private sector does.
Mr Dadey, therefore, said providing the enabling environment for the private sector to thrive is the best way to go.
“It goes without saying, wealth creation and poverty eradication through job creation are two sides of the same coin,” he stated.
