I Am Bringing New Vision — Bawumia

I am bringing a new vision to build on the successes of President Akufo-Addo, the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said.

He said the party will launch its Election 2024 manifesto next month which will capture everything about the new vision.

Dr Bawumia said this at the unveiling of his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh in Kumasi on Tuesday.

Future
Dr Bawumia said the election is about our future. “We have to decide whether we are going back or going forward. The choice is between me and John Mahama who failed as President. I have not been a President before but everybody believes I am the best Vice President in the history of Ghana.”

Records
The NPP flagbearer stated that when it comes to records, the NDC comes nowhere near NPP. “They don’t want to talk about records but we will talk about it. Our performance on the economy is far superior to John Mahama’s economy.”

Running mate
Dr Bawumia described Napo as a generational thinker. “In selecting my vice presidential candidate, I needed someone who can help me with experience from the legislative branch to give me complementality. The one who can help me win the elections. And it fell on no one like Dr Premoeh. He is highly knowledgble. I have high respect for him, he is a generational thinker and we share the same values. Our ticket is one for the youth, and generational thinking and we are bringing it to help build Ghana.”
