Gov’t Endorses Bawku Peace Plan; Promises to Facilitate Relocation of Alhaji Seidu Abagre

The government has endorsed all the findings and recommendations outlined in the report on the Otumfuo Bawku mediation.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the government stated that the report provides a forward-looking roadmap aimed at achieving lasting peace in Bawku.

Specifically, the government reaffirmed the legal position that Naba Abugrago Azorka is the rightful Bawku Naba.

Furthermore, the government announced that it will facilitate the safe transportation of Alhaji Seidu Abagre from Bawku to Nalerigu.
