Ghanaians Celebrate ‘Smart And Intelligent’ Napo On 56th Birthday

Scores of Ghanaians, on Thursday, May 23, 2024, celebrated Energy Minister and MP for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh on his 56th birthday.

Taking to social media, they praised Dr. Prempeh , popularly called Napo, for demonstrating exemplary leadership and wished him well in his endeavours.

A party was also held in Accra at which the birthday cake was cut.

Manhyia South proud of MP
In a statement, the Manhyia South Constituency of the NPP said, “As you celebrate your birthday today, May you be surrounded by love, joy, and the appreciation of all those whose lives you have touched. Here’s to many more years of success, fulfillment, and impactful service to our beloved Manhyia South and nation. We are always proud to have you as our Member of Parliament. Happy birthday, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.”

Energy Ministry eulogy
In their birthday wishes, the Ministry of Energy stated, “Your hard work and perseverance as a public official have set a remarkable example for all of us. Notwithstanding the challenges, you have remained steadfast in your commitment to serving Ghana with integrity and excellence. Your leadership has been a guiding light, steering us through turbulent times and towards greater heights.

Smart and intelligent
In a message posted on his Facebook page, the National Organiser of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye a.k.a. Nana B, described the Manhyia South legislator as “smart and intelligent.”

“The man Napo: a brother, a friend, and an adviser. He is smart and intelligent with a heart of gold. With his generous heart, he has touched the lives of thousands. He is a doer, an achiever, and is loved and cherished by multitude souls. Love him, and a multitude will love you back, fight him, and a multitude will fight for him. He is a royal but a servant leader.  Happy Happy birthday to my big brother, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo). May the good Lord protect and bless you abundantly,” he stated.

Salam Mustapha, NPP National Youth Organiser, posted, “Happy birthday to you sir, best wishes to you.”

Ashanti support
Raphael Patrick Sarfo, the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of NPP posted two messages.
One stated, “Daakyehene Napo, You have the strong support of Asante.”

The second said, “There is no birthday celebration in Ghana and globally today apart from Napo’s birthday. All suspended and postponed.”

Kofi Abrefa-Afena, Special Assistant to the Energy Minister wrote, “Two of the many things I have learnt immensely under his tutelage are: Not talking too much but focusing on delivery; Extreme attention to detail.
Happy 56th Boss like no other! It is such a pleasure learning at your feet and serving you. God bless and keep you Hon. Minister!”
