Ghana move up in latest FIFA ranking after impressive March window

The Black Stars of Ghana have climbed a place up in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola ranking following an outstanding run in the March international break.
Ghana moved from the 77th position to 76th after amassing six points in March. Th Black Stars defeated Chad and Madagascar, scoring eight goals without conceding in the World Cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile, on the continent their position remain unchanged, maintaining their 14th place on the log.
Globally, Argentina remain top with Spain moving into second place followed by France, England and Brazil in the top five.
In Africa, Morocco, who are 12th in the world, are top of the rankings followed by Senegal, Egypt, Algeria and Ivory Coast in top five places.
The Black Stars will return to action in June for the Unity Cup before resumption of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September.
Ghana sit top of Group I after six matches in Group I of the qualifiers and are on the brink of securing qualification to the tournament.
