GFA introduces ‘Happy Hour Project’ to boost Ghana Premier League atmosphere

The Ghana Football Association has launched the Happy Hour Project to bring the Ghana Premier League closer to fans by enhancing matchday entertainment in selected cities.

The initiative, currently being piloted in Tarkwa, Kumasi, Accra, and Dormaa, aims to improve the matchday experience with music, pre-game activities, and a lively atmosphere at four venues: Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Tarkwa T&A Stadium, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, and the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

A designated section of these stadiums will be open for free entry from gate opening until 90 minutes before kickoff, allowing fans to enjoy entertainment and curtain-raiser matches before the main game.

This project is part of the GFA’s broader effort to increase fan engagement and excitement around the Ghana Premier League.
