First Lady inaugurates KGL Group new head office building; Lauds company for contribution to national dev’t
An ultra-modern new head office building for the KGL Group has been commissioned in Accra. The project, known as the KGL House, will be the central operational point for the KGL Group, a wholly owned Ghanaian entity, consisting of six subsidiaries operating in several jurisdictions and multiple sectors including Fintech, Logistics, Agriculture, Property Development and Commerce.
Impressive project
Speaking at the ceremony, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo described the project as an impressive edifice, and a symbol of the determination and commitment to the development of the country.
She said it is also a symbol of the entrepreneurial acumen the country needs. The First Lady said entrepreneurship is not for the faint-hearted. It is about determination, the willingness to take risks and innovate.
She explained that entrepreneurship is not “about you, but about the people who need you.”
National development
Mrs Akufo-Addo applauded KGL Group and its the Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Alex Dadey for their tremendous contribution to the development of the country, especially in the area of philanthropy. She also applauded the people who share in the vision of KGL Group.
Good things
The Okuapehene, Odeadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, who chaired the function, said KGL Group deserves praise for the many good things they have done in the country.
He said the project can rival any of such facilities anywhere in the world. “I chose this day to celebrate the brain behind this fantastic organization, a man who deserves every bit of praise, the Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Mr Alex Dadey.
“I’m here as chairman for this event today because it is important to support and celebrate our own.” He said as a proud member of Okuapeman , Mr Dadey has continuously led the way in developing Okuapeman.
“As a Ghanaian, he has shown to be a strong patriot, he has carried issues to the diaspora, encouraging Ghanaians in the diaspora to come home to help mother Ghana build a safe place for us all,” the Okuapehene added.
He predicted an even brighter future for the KGL Group.

The CEO of the National Lotteries Authority, Sammi Awuku, was confident that the building will be a safe place to do business.
