Eric Opoku, Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Agbodza, approved as ministers
Parliament has approved three key ministerial nominees: Haruna Iddrisu as Minister-designate for Education, Kwame Governs Agbodza as Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, and Eric Opoku as Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture.
The Appointments Committee conducted a rigorous vetting process, evaluating the nominees’ qualifications, experience, and proposed strategies for their respective ministries. After thorough assessments, the committee unanimously recommended their confirmation.
During a plenary session chaired by Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah, Parliament engaged in extensive deliberations on the nominees’ credentials and plans to address pressing national issues. Following the discussions, a vote was held, resulting in the approval of all three nominees.
With this parliamentary endorsement, Haruna Iddrisu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, and Eric Opoku are now set to assume their ministerial roles, contributing to the government’s development agenda.
