Citation
The Dagbon community presented a citation to the Asantehene to show their appreciation to the tremendous efforts he put in to bring peace back to the Dagbon Kingdom.
It reads: “ The bond between the Asante Kingdom and Dagbon Kingdom indeed, has been age-old with several mutual benefits. “ “No wonder you were inspired by this bond to address and reunify Dagbon with a team of eminent chiefs when the entire Dagbon was in turmoil by ensuring we, the Dagomba, have Ya-Na Abukari II as the King of Dagbon.“
“What a priceless achievement this is to your credit. You are the King Solomon of our time and indeed it is against this background that we the Dagomba in the Ashanti Region presents this citation to your honour on behalf of all Dagomba in the world. Ayekoo, Nana for a wonderful job done. “
