Celebrating A Pillar Of Peace: Otumfuo Is Best Ambassador For Ghana’s Culture — Attorney General
Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II comes as the best ambassador for Ghana’s rich culture, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame has said.
Speaking of the works of the King, Mr Dame said, “His works, no doubt, have been unrivalled and stand very tall. I think that it’s a very worthy one that everyone should emulate.
“He is also a symbol of our rich culture and there has been no better ambassador for the display of the culture of our people than the Asantehene.”
The Attorney General said these when he received the 24-karat Otumfuo Commemorative Gold Coin at a brief ceremony in his office in Accra on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
The presentation was done by a delegation from the E On 3 Group and key partners, led by Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori Atta, the Executive Director of the E On 3 Group.
Colossus
Describing Otumfuo as a colossus on the African continent, Mr Dame said the Asantehene’s deeds had been exemplary to all on the continent. “I feel greatly honoured to be on the list of recipients of this commemorative gold coin,” he stated.
Mr Dame indicated that it was a step in the right direction that the commemorative gold coin was launched in honour of Otumfuo.
