Black Stars to hold first training session on Monday ahead of Chad and Mali games

The Black Stars will begin training in Accra on Monday as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
The team will hold two sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and Tuesday before travelling to N’Djamena for Thursday’s clash with Chad.
Ghana will then host Mali at the same venue on Monday, 8 September 2025. Monday’s session is set for 5:00 pm local time.
Twelve players reported to camp on Sunday, including Antoine Semenyo, Elisha Owusu, Jerry Afriyie, Joseph Anang, Christopher Bonsu Baah, Benjamin Asare, Jonas Adjetey, Ibrahim Osman, Ibrahim Sulemana, Kamal Deen Sulemana, Jordan Ayew and Gideon Mensah. The remaining squad members are expected to join on Monday.
These fixtures are crucial for Ghana as they seek to strengthen their position in Group I of the African qualifiers.
