Black Stars showcase Ghanaian culture in Côte d’Ivoire
The Black Stars showcased Ghanaian culture in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire today, January 10, 2024, when they landed for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) dressed in kente and jumper with native sandals to match.
Ghana is seeking to end a 42-year drought in the AFCON having last won it in 1982 in Libya. The Black Stars are drawn in Group B alongside Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.
On January 14, Ghana will play their first match against Cape Verde, followed by Egypt and Mozambique.
