Among constituencies he has visited are Akatsi North, Akatsi South, South Tongu, Central Tongu, Hohoe, North Dayi, Afadzato, South Dayi, Agotime Ziope, Adaklu, Ho West, and Ho Central Constituencies. At various meetings, the delegates, in their numbers , showed love to the Vice President by cheering and singing praises of his name.
Breaking the 8
“We are in the process of electing a flag bearer. What we are trying to do as a party in 2024 is something that has not been done before in Ghana. We want to break the 8 because no party has been able to break the 8 so far.
“Many people think it is not possible. I say by the grace of God, it is possible, and that is why I picked forms to contest, “ he told cheering delegates at Hohoe.
He added: “We were 10 who picked forms and filed nominations, and as a result, we had to go for the super delegates conference to choose five. “By the grace of God, our prayers were answered and we scored an emphatic victory. When you look at the results of the super delegates conference you’ll see that I won in all the 16 regions and headquarters of the party.”
He thanked the Volta Region for the “ fantastic support” that was given to him. We are left with one more step to elect the flag bearer, and I hope you’ll do same,” he said.
