Bawumia/NAPO Better Placed To Lead Ghana — Okuapehene

The Okuapehene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the general elections.
He said the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has laid a solid foundation for the growth of the country, and a Bawumia/Opoku Prempeh government is better placed to build on it.
The Okuapehene said this when the NPP presidential running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh paid a courtesy call on him at his palace at Akropong Akuapem in the Eastern Region on Thursday, July 25.

Humility
The Okuapehene also affirmed the humility of Dr Opoku Prempeh, affectionately called NAPO.
“As far as I know you, you are humble, looking at your background as a royal. What we are expecting from you is to be forthright and candid in all your dealings., “ he told NAPO.
He admonished Dr Opoku Prempeh to continue doing the needed work for Dr Bawumia to succeed.

Blessings
Oseadeeyo praised the NPP flagbearer and his running mate for seeking the blessings and directions of traditional and religious leaders before campaigning in any area.
That move, he explained gives meaning to their humility and respect for tradition and religion.

Support of traditional authority
Dr Opoku Prempeh emphasised Dr Bawumia’s message of forging an inclusive partnership with traditional authority and thus the need to support the NPP strongly in that endeavour.
He expressed gratitude to Oseadeeayo and the queenmother for their prayers and words of encouragement to him and the NPP.

Party faithful
Addressing some party faithful later, Dr Opoku Prempeh urged them to continue to work hard by spreading Dr Bawumia’s message of selfless leadership and bold solutions.
He said the NPP need to win the elections to continue with its good works.
He expressed gratitude to the NPP leadership in the Eastern region, parliamentary candidates for Akuapem North, Akuapem South and Okere as well as constituency executives for their support.
