Bawumia Leads NPP Flagbearer Race with 57% – Global Info Analytics Poll

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been tipped to win the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for January 31, according to the final poll and predictions released by Global Info Analytics.

The poll, conducted between December 29, 2025, and January 23, 2026, surveyed 10,133 respondents across all 16 regions and 272 constituencies using a random probability sampling method. The survey was carried out through computer-assisted telephone interviews.

Global Info Analytics’ final prediction model indicates that Bawumia leads with 57 percent of the vote, followed by Kennedy Agyapong with 28 percent.

Dr. Bryan Acheampong (DBA) is projected to secure 13 percent, while Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has two percent. The remaining candidate, Kwabena Agyapong, is recorded at 0 percent in the poll.

The survey has a confidence level of 99.9 percent and a margin of error of ±1.57 percent. The predictive model carries a margin of error of ±3.0 percent.

The results suggest a strong lead for Bawumia as the NPP prepares to choose its flagbearer ahead of the 2026 general elections.
