Asiedu Nketia goes wild as defeat stares NDC; Says IGP, CDS will be chased away like rats
Apparently scared of an imminent defeat in the upcoming general elections, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, went bonkers with the declaration that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) will not be spared if the NDC loses the election.
Breathing fire and brimstone at the NDC campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, 2024, Asiedu Nketia also known as General Mosquito warned that the two security capos will have no peace if the NDC loses the polls.
He also indicated that the Council of State and National Peace Council will not be spared either.
Rats
Fuming with rage, Asiedu Nketia warned that the IGP and the CDS will be chased away like rats. Urged on by his party supporters, the skinny General Mosquito then burst into the ‘Crazy Baldheads’ lyrics by Bob Marley:
“Them crazy, them crazy
We gonna chase those crazy
Out of town
Chase those crazy baldheads
Out of our town”.
President cannot save you
Asiedu Nketia insisted that the President cannot save the security capos if they fail to do what the NDC wants in the elections.
Devoting a good time of his speech to the security agencies, the NDC national chairman said the CDS and the IGP should not listen to any advice from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo regarding the elections, warning that they would not have it cool if they play to the NPP game. “If you fail, on the day of accountability, you will not have the President who is pressuring you now to come to your defence, you will be left on your own and your God,” he told the security capos.
Council of State, Peace Council
Asiedu Nketia also did not spare the Council of State and National Peace Council, accusing them of unfairness, and warned the members of drastic consequences if they misconduct themselves. “Tell whoever is not conducting themselves well, whoever is on a dangerous path to create problems. So if you are interested in peace, please be proactive. When you see the early warning signs, don’t wait to be awakened from your slumber. Stand up, speak up, and be counted by posterity,” he stated.
