Alcohol, animals, other items prohibited inside AFCON 2025 stadiums

As excitement builds ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, kicking off on December 21 in Morocco, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has published a list of items that fans will not be allowed to bring into tournament stadiums.
The guidelines, released on CAF’s official website, aim to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.
Fans will undergo security screening before entering stadiums and are strongly advised to leave the following items at home:
Alcoholic beverages
Illegal drugs and substances
Weapons and sharp objects
Fireworks or pyrotechnics
Glass bottles or containers
Flammable materials
Racist, violent, or discriminatory banners
Unauthorized political, religious, or commercial signage
Drones and animals
Large umbrellas or oversized hats
Professional cameras or recording equipment
Musical instruments and loud horns
Radio-emitting devices (except mobile phones)
Heavy or oversized bags
CAF emphasizes that adhering to these rules will help ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable experience for all fans attending AFCON 2025 matches in Morocco.
