Bantama NPP Executives Rally Behind Bawumia

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has received strong backing in the Bantama Constituency, with 15 out of the 19 electoral area coordinators and 14 of the 17 constituency executives publicly declaring their support for him.

Addressing delegates during a campaign visit to the constituency on Tuesday, January 27, Bantama Constituency Chairman Fiifi Mensah, alongside First Vice Chairman Kingsley Atta, announced the endorsements and expressed confidence in Dr Bawumia’s leadership and vision.

“Out of the 19 coordinators in Bantama, 15 of us have decided to cast our votes for you, including our delegates. We promise that before the day of the election, which is on Saturday, some of the remaining coordinators will have changed their minds to join us,” they said.

The officials said the level of grassroots support reflects widespread confidence in Dr Bawumia’s candidacy and signals strong momentum heading into the party primaries.

The opposition New Patriotic Party, will on Saturday, January 31, pick its presidential Candidate for the 2028 elections. Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will face off with former Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, former NPP General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong, former Education Minister, Yaw Osei Adutwum, and former Agriculture Minister Bryan Acheampong.
