Bawumia donates GHC 100,000 to injured NPP polling station officer

The 2024 presidential candidate of the NPP and immediate past vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia, has made a cash donation of GHC 100,000 to Bernard Mensah, an NPP polling station officer at Mampoma in the Twifo Atti Mokwaa constituency of the Central Region.

Bernard Mensah was involved in a near-fatal electrical accident during the 2024 election campaign period when he was fixing street bulbs on electric poles.

Mensah was electrocuted in the process and has had one of his arms amputated.

The donation was done on behalf of Bawumia by Richard Takyi Mensah, the NPP regional secretary.

Bernard Mensah, expressed gratitude to Bawumia, describing the gesture as a huge relief and timely considering his current physical state.
