Our record of development in the North is unmatched – Bawumia says as he campaigns in North East Region

Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has said the record of the NPP government in the development of northern Ghana is unmatched, and it’s there for all to see.

Speaking at a community engagement at Gbintiri in the Nalerigu/Gambaga constituency in the North East Region on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Dr Bawumia assured of even brighter days ahead.

“The government of Nana Akufo-Addo has laid a solid foundation for growth, and the next government, led by me Insha Allah, will further implement policies and programmes that will boost business and industry, provide accelerated and improved healthcare, more quality and accessible ICT-based education, and help make the life of the ordinary Ghanaian even better,” he said.

Examine policies
The flagbearer appealed to Ghanaians to critically examine the policies and initiatives implemented by the government over the past seven- and-half years and compare them to those of their main opponents, NDC to see the difference.

Dr Bawumia said a people-centred government is measured by how impactful its policies and programmes have been for the ordinary Ghanaian.

He stated that unlike the NDC, the NPP have the vision and the ideas to transform Ghana.

The flagbearer of the NPP paid courtesy calls on the Overlord of Mamprugu, Nayiri Mahami Abdulai Sheriga and other traditional leaders.
