Bawumia speaks at UPSA today; Hits ground running to sell his vision for Ghana’s next chapter
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will kickstart a nationwide engagement with Ghanaians today, January 7, 2024 with a public address at the University of Professional Studies, Accra ( UPSA).
He will use the platform to set the stage to sell his vision to the people ahead of this year’s general elections.
The Vice President is determined to lead the NPP to break the eight year election cycle between the two major political parties- NPP and NDC.

In a video posted on social media ahead of today’s event , Dr Bawumia seeks to stress the importance the programme holds in his quest to lead the NPP to victory in the general elections.
He went ahead to declare his readiness to campaign ahead of the elections, adding that after the NPP elected its parliamentary candidates, the party is now ready to hit the ground running to make his vision known.
He stated: “Earlier when I was elected as flagbearer, I announced that I have my own vision for Ghana. We just finished electing parliamentary candidates across various constituency.”
“Now we are ready to kickstart a series of engagements nationwide with you, the good people of Ghana. I Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, will set the ball rolling by outlining highlights of my vision for Ghana’s next chapter. My vision is built on the same philosophy but pursues some different paths , which I believe will make our nation great and strong.”
