6 Envoys present letters of credence to President Akufo-Addo
Six new envoys, on Friday, February 23, 2024, presented their letters of credence to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.
They are Park Kyongsig, Republic of Korea; Polly Ioannou, Republic of Cyprus; Peter Ryan, Ireland; Annika Hahn-Englund, Sweden; Mahlaba Almon Mamba, Kingdom of Eswatini; and David Buom Choa, South Sudan.
Assurance
At the ceremony, the President congratulated the envoys on their appointments and assured them of the Government of Ghana’s support in carrying out their duties. He also urged them to work towards strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations between Ghana and their respective countries.
Commitment
In response, the envoys expressed their commitment to enhancing relations between Ghana and their countries and thanked the President for accepting their Letters of Credence. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Office of the President and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong (MP).
