We are confident you’ll support Bawumia to victory; Manhyia South NPP honours NAPO

Manhyia South Constituency of the NPP has honoured the presidential running mate of the party and MP for the area, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for the honour done the constituency.

This took place when Dr Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo, met delegates of the constituency in Kumasi on Wednesday, August 14.

 

Citation
A citation presented in his honour expressed confidence in the running mate to support the flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to clinch a decisive victory in the December 7 elections.

The citation read: “In recognition of your hard work and unassailable achievements as our Member of Parliament, we, the NPP Constituency Executives of Manhyia South, on behalf of the entire Constituency Party, confer on you this meritorious honour.

“We note that never in the history of Manhyia South have we witnessed such massive developments in all spheres of life including education, healthcare, security, sanitation, youth empowerment, infrastructure projects among others.

“You have been a monumental blessing not only to Manhyia South but to the whole country. In the two Ministries you have served as Minister, i.e. Education and Energy, the nation witnessed significant reforms and achievements in those sectors including the almighty Free SHS Policy and Energy sustainability.

“On account of the foregoing, news of your selection as the Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate did not come to us as a surprise at all. It also did not surprise us that your selection received overwhelming endorsement by all the organs of the Party and the rank and file.”

 

Campaign for Bawumia
In his remarks, Napo applauded the constituency party on a successful parliamentary primary election for a successor as parliamentary candidate for the 2024 election. He reminded the party supporters of the need to campaign aggresively for Dr Bawumia, thus justifying the huge confidence that has been reposed in the constituency through his selection as running mate.

Common Objective
“I have no doubt that the constituency stands ready to work assiduously towards our common objective of ensuring decisive victories for our flagbearer, Dr Bawumia and our parliamentary candidate, Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah,” he stated.
