Election 2024: Reject Mahama, Ghana Doesn’t Need ‘Nkokɔ Nketenkete’ And 24-Hour Parties — Bawumia
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized John Dramani Mahama for lacking fresh ideas for Ghana’s progress.
Speaking to party supporters after visiting the La Traditional Council in Accra on Thursday, September 12, 2024, Dr Bawumia said voting for the NPP would bring prosperity to all Ghanaians, unlike Mahama’s uninspired leadership.
He specifically pointed out Mahama’s plan to include nightclubs in a 24-hour economy, questioning how it would help Ghana’s economy.
Dr Bawumia emphasized that the NPP focuses on innovative solutions for national development.
Future
“This election is about choosing the future over the past. We want to move forward. The future is about jobs, technology, and ensuring prosperity in Ghana. The former President lacks ideas, he suggests ‘nkokɔ nketenkete and 24-hour parties. We aim to take a new path and create jobs for our youth,” he stated.
Bold solutions
During the tour, Dr Bawumia shared his vision for Ghana’s next chapter in the Ledzokuku, La Dadekotopon and Klottey Korle constituencies of the Greater Accra Region.
