Election 2024: Bawumia, Running Mate Hold Strategic Meeting With Former NPP MPs

Determined to tap into the experience of key members of the NPP ahead of the December 7 general elections, the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo, have held a meeting with the party’s former Members of Parliament (MPs).

The valuable reconnection meeting, held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra on Wednesday, August 6, sought to court the expertise of the former legislators towards victory 2024.

Contributions
The flagbearer and his running mate took time to listen to contributions from the former MPs and answered questions. The ex-MPs shared experiences from the past, especially with regards to campaigning at the grassroots, and suggested ways that will strategically position the party to clinch a decisive victory in the elections.

Impact
Dr Bawumia, who led the meeting, praised the former MPs for the immense contribution to the growth of the party and urged them to make their impact felt in the battle for victory.

In attendance were the National Chairman of the party, Steven Ayesu Ntim; General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong; Campaign Manager of Dr Bawumia, Frederick Opare-Ansah, and Senior Campaign Adviser, Sammi Awuku.

This gathering was a testament to the party’s commitment to unity and its determination to leverage the collective experience of its members.
