Courageous NAPO Will Be A Worthy Vice President – Denkyira Queenmother

The queenmother of Denkyira, Nana Ama Ayensua Saara III, has lauded Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his bravery.

She said a courageous Dr Opoku Prempeh is worthy of occupying the office of Vice President of the country.

Speaking when Dr Opoku Prempeh affectionately called Napo called on her at Dunkwa-on-Offin on Thursday, August 8, at the start of his campaign tour of the Central Region, the queenmother prayed for the success of the Bawumia-Napo ticket as they seek to take Ghana to another level in its development.

Nana Ama Ayensua Saara noted that, as an Ashanti royal, Napo has some links with Denkyira, whose people are known for their bravery. She urged the running mate to take his assignments with all seriousness.

Assurance
For his part, Dr Opoku Prempeh gave an assurance that he would continue to discharge his duties with humility and work in the interest of Ghana’s development. He expressed delight with the meeting with the Denkyira queenmother, and for her to bless the Bawumia 2024 campaign.

Later in the day, the running mate had engagements with traders in the Dunkwa market and students of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Dunkwa-on-Offin. “I am deeply encouraged by how Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s message keeps resonating with the people of Ghana. In Dr. Bawumia, Ghanaians will have a leader, who will truly lead us to the next chapter of growth and prosperity,” he stated.
