Bawumia, Napo receive national honours
Some Ghanaians have received national honours for excelling in their various fields of endeavour over the years.
Among the award winners are Vice President and NPP presidential candidate in the 2024 elections, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and the MP for Manhyia South and vice presidential candidate of the NPP in the 2024 elections, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
Dr Bawumia received the topmost award – Order of the Star of Ghana – Officer Awardee, while Dr Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo, received an award for public service in the Order of the Volta – Officer Awardee.
