Mahama appoints Justina Nelson as Acting CEO of MIIF
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF).
Her appointment which takes immediate effect comes less than 24 hours after the President revoked Edward Nana Yaw Koranteng’s appointment.
Justina Nelson is currently a Group Head at Zenith Bank with oversight responsibility for both energy and commercial Banking sectors.
She brings extensive experience in the mining and finance sectors having held various senior positions in both private and public institutions.
“The President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has in accordance with Article 195 (1) of the Constitution and Section 21 (2) of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) Act, 2018 (Act 978), appointed Ms. Justina Nelson as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Income Investment Fund”, a statement from the Presidency announced.
The appointee holds a Master of Laws in Corporate and Commercial Law, a Master in Business Administration (Marketing), a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Management and Psychology.
