Let’s embrace the future with mindset of possibilities – Dr. Bawumia
The Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has assured party supporters that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will continue to implement policies aimed at improving the lives of the Ghanaian people, urging them to vote overwhelmingly for him in the December 7 general elections.
Speaking at the party’s final campaign rally at the forecourt of the University of Ghana Sports Centre at Legon in Accra on Thursday, December 5, Dr Bawumia called on supporters to ensure the party’s victory and approach the future with a mindset of possibilities.
“The choice is clear. Are we moving into the future with a mindset of possibilities, or are we heading back to the past with the mindset of stagnation?” he asked.
“It’s important to remind ourselves that we are a government focused on solving problems, and for the past eight years, President Nana Akufo-Addo has shown his commitment to addressing the challenges facing our nation.”
Dr Bawumia also highlighted the success of the Free SHS policy, which he said has provided education to over 5.7 million children who were previously out of school.
“When we took office, there were more girls than boys in senior high school. Today, there are more boys than girls in senior high schools, and as the President has said, their performance has significantly improved. In fact, the top three students in the entire West African region in the WASSCE exams all came from Ghana,” he added.
