7 years
In a statement Dr Prempeh issued on September 12, 2024 to mark 7 years of free SHS, He stated: “This is undoubtedly the single most impactful social policy ever implemented in our country and Africa south of the Sahara. As I reflect with modest pride over the role I was honoured to play in this initiative, I am fortified by the hope this government continues to inspire in our youth through the power of education, and I am convinced that under a Dr Mahamudu Bawumia government, we will do even more to consolidate the gains we have made under FSHS in particular and education in general in our beloved country.”
